JOB SUMMARY:
Line Supervisor will directly supervise all ticket writers while assisting guests as needed. Perform all duties relating to Title 31 compliance in Front of House. Facilitate the placing of wagers by guests in a customer service friendly atmosphere. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies and procedures within the Sportsbook Department.
DIRECTLY SUPERVISES

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting the Company Service Standards at all times.
• Supervise all procedures and controls for the Sportsbook
• Responsible for confirming Sportsbook systems time to Naval Observatory on a daily basis
• Assist in implementing departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist in obtaining, inputting, maintaining, and recording all transactions as specified by Sportsbook audit and Nevada Gaming Control regulations, including but not limited to Cash Balance Sheets, MTLs, BWR's, CTRC-Ns
• Supervise and direct Sportsbook writers
• Review various Sportsbook reports for accuracy and feasibility
• Ensure that all Gaming Control Board rules and regulations are adhered to at all times
• Responsible for issuance of beverage comps to guests
• Assist in Players Rewards Cards signups, as well as all Contest sign ups
• Assist in patron disputes
• Facilitate guest's wagers through communication with back of house staff
• Approve voided tickets at Management's discretion

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members and management in both written and verbal form
• Must have a full understanding of all wagers offered on betting board with ability to explain to customers as needed.
• Must possess basic counting and mathematical skills
• Experience Utilizing Stadium Technology Systems and Betting Terminals
• Understand and comply with all company, departmental and Gaming Control Board rules and regulations, policies and procedures
• Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationship with staff and guests
• Must be able to maintain Gaming work card
• Must be at least 21 years of age

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of one (1) year previous Sportsbook supervisory experience
• High School graduate or equivalent

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
• Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
• Work is typically in an area which may noisy and may contain second hand smoke.
• Tasks performed from a sitting or non-sitting position.
• Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area. Constant contact with fellow team members and guests.
