SalaryThe Growing Patch is looking for a caring, compassionate teacher interested in caring for children ages six weeks to 6 years. Specifically, we are looking for a new co-lead in our toddler and preschool rooms. We are committed to providing top quality care for the children who are enrolled in our program. Our goal is to enhance the lives of every child that attends our facility. If you are a patient, caring professional with a background in child care, we hope you will get in touch about this position. No experience, but love to work with children? We are willing to train the right candidate. Starting pay will be based on experience, education level and/or training that has been completed. The right new employee will have the ambition and dedication to work towards becoming a LEAD co-teacher in the coming months, upon completion of a 60 day probation period.
- Assist teachers in creating lesson plans and maintaining a safe classroom environment
- Develop a cleaning routine throughout the day that keeps all of the interactive areas sanitary and safe
- Monitor children during activities and interact with the children to enhance their learning and development.
- Work with teachers to maintain communication with parents and contact parents in emergency situations
- Prepare and serve meals and bottles, keep children clean and dry throughout the day and provide general care and snuggles for our littles
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
