Child/Adult Psychiatrist

This is an opportunity to help make a difference in the lives of vulnerable patients! Promise Healthcare is a community health center in Champaign, Illinois and we are seeking a Psychiatric Physician to join our team. Full-time and Part-time positions available. We have clinics on Bloomington Road and Neil Street in Champaign and a school-based clinic in Urbana. Our facilities are designated Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) that qualify for federal loan repayment programs as well as the IDPH loan repayment program. Competitive compensation with signing bonus and/or relocation potential. Must be licensed or eligible for license in Illinois. Spanish/French language skills are a plus. DEA required.

Practice opportunity details include:

• Candidate type: MD
• 100% outpatient; Monday-Friday schedule
• Call is approximately 1:8 telephone only (varies with the number of providers)
• Team-based care: Physicians, NPs, PAs, Nursing, Counseling and case management.
• Integrated care with Dental, Behavioral Health, Psychiatry and Primary Care.
• Paid malpractice with 100% tail insurance covered through the Federal Torts Claims Act (FTCA)
• $3,000 CME and 40 hours per year for full-time position
• 7 paid holidays
• Approximately 31 days of combined vacation and sick leave (Earned time off ETO). ETO exchange allows for cash-out of unused ETO.
