The Child Welfare Support Worker will be responsible for providing support to children and families involved in the Child Welfare system. The ideal candidate will be flexible, organized, and proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Responsibilities:- Assist with case management tasks, including scheduling appointments and maintaining case files
- Provide support to children and families involved in the Child Welfare system
- Assist with the development and implementation of service plans
- Collaborate with other professionals involved in the Child Welfare system, including social workers, therapists, and attorneys
- Attend court hearings and meetings as needed
- Complete required documentation and reports
- Bachelor's degree in social work or related field
- Experience working with children and families
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing situations
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
