Wage range: $21.98 - 25.78 per hour (contingent on years experience and educational level)
Job Summary:
Supporting parent/child relationships with at-risk pregnant women, infants, and toddlers and their families through developmental parenting and family well-being that is long-term, intensive, comprehensive home-based support for the purpose of promoting attachment, meeting individualized family and child goals, and encouraging school readiness while reflecting with families in the process to reduce the incidence of child abuse and neglect.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years experience working with children and families, Trained in Parents As Teachers (PAT), Infant-Toddler Developmental Assessment (IDA) preferred; or ability to attend week long training to obtain above certifications, has good attendance, and dependable transportation.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or higher in areas of Nursing, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Social Work, or closely related field
Requirements:
All applicants will be required to provide a satisfactory background check (prior to job offer), have and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to pass a pre-employment physical and TB screen.
