Eliot Community Human Services is seeking a Master Level Clinician to join our team at the Everett Clinic as a Child Clinician for Community Based Services in partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Stoneham and Wakefield. The ideal candidate would have 3 years experience in a similar setting and is able to work collaboratively with program administration and staff as well as clients and families, to assess current needs and ensure responsive clinical services and risk assessments are delivered to children from the program.
Eliot's community-Based Services involve our team of dedicated professionals working closely with each child and their families to address their emotional and behavioral needs. We actively involve parents, family members, caregivers, schools, and other supports in a holistic, strengths based, trauma informed therapeutic approach.
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with program administration and staff as well as clients and families to develop and deliver clinical services to children within the program.
- Provide crisis intervention, diagnostic evaluation and therapy to clients utilizing various treatment modalities, i.e. individual, family, group and play therapy as clinically indicated and meet targeted productivity standards as agreed upon.
- Develop and maintain positive professional relationships with program staff and administrators.
- Coordinate all referrals for program-Based Services and provide consultation to program personnel as needed.
- Provide appropriate and on-going documentation including, but not limited to, progress notes, diagnostic evaluation, treatment plans, and termination summaries in a timely manner.
- Submit all administrative paperwork within the specified time frames.
- Participate in staff meetings and supervision as required by the Director.
- Collaborate with relevant collaterals such as referring agencies, schools, primary care physicians, family members, emergency services, CBHI, CBHC, DCF and/or other programs to ensure coordination of care in accordance with agency policy and applicable laws pertaining to client confidentiality.
Qualifications: Requires a Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field. License eligible or independent licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; or a Doctorate in Psychology from an accredited university/college and licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts preferred. Three years experience in the field. Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team and maintain collaborative relationships with staff, school administrators, and other providers. Strong written and organizational skills. Computer literacy and skill in the use of computers and related software applications. Ability to consistently meet all necessary background and credentialing requirements. Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must have reliable telephone notification system for emergency contact.
Schedule: Monday- Friday, 10am-6pm
Location: Wakefield & Stoneham
Starting Salary: $70,000 annually. 6% increase if bilingual in needed languages.
