This position will involve collaborative work with a team of experts in the field of traumatic stress to deliver mobile trauma-informed evidence-based practices (EBPs) to a diverse child and youth population in Massachusetts.

The position includes providing EBPs, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Attachment, Regulation and Competency (ARC), through individual and family therapy as well as caregiver consultation. The clinician will also facilitate trauma-informed parenting groups to caregivers with children who have experienced trauma. The clinician will work with JRI programs to identify and implement EBPs best suited to the population served in each program. This is a grant-funded position (until September 2026) and training in trauma-informed EBPs will be provided.

Schedule: We strongly believe in work-life balance! In this position, you will have a hybrid schedule, which includes remote days and on-site days.

Salary & Compensation: This is a fee-for-service (FFS) position ($43/hour for LCSW and non-licensed, $45/hour for LICSW/independently licensed). Travel costs to JRI programs will be reimbursed.

Program Description:

Massachusetts Justice and Equity for Child Trauma (MAJECT) at JRI is a mobile service network that provides evidence-based trauma interventions to underserved and marginalized children and youth (ages 0-17) who have been exposed to violence and their families. Target populations include youth of color, child welfare involved youth, LGBTQ+ youth, and juvenile justice involved youth. The primary aim of MAJECT is to reduce mental health disparities among these consumer groups.

The work of MAJECT involves delivery of trauma-informed clinical services, including individual and family therapy, caregiver consultation, and parenting groups. MAJECT delivers these interventions in a range of service settings, including outpatient, community based, residential programs, and group homes.

The project's comprehensive approach and proposed interventions will increase equitable access to trauma-informed care among the most vulnerable children, youth, and families in Massachusetts. This is an exciting opportunity to provide direct clinical services for a project funded by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency (OJJDP). JRI is a non-profit organization with over 100 diverse programs. The mission of JRI is to provide trauma-informed and socially just services to underserved individuals, families, and communities.
