OhioGuidestone is looking for a qualified Therapist for an exciting role working with youth and their families in our DoubleArc Center for FASD Program, located in Perrysburg, OH. In addition to serving children and teens affected by prenatal alcohol exposure, we work with caregivers to provide education and therapy, we also provide a diagnostic clinic to evaluate clients for FASD. If you are interested in learning more about providing therapy services to this specialized population, this role may be for you. We offer ample supervision (both individual and as a group), training, and shadowing, as we are dedicated in building your skillset as a professional and your self-confidence in this ever growing in demand field. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide initial and ongoing assessment, counseling and clinical interventions to a designated caseload.
  • Provide individual, group and Family psychotherapy interventions.
  • Integrate Trauma Informed Care practices while working with persons served.
  • Communicate with relevant internal and external care providers to complete ongoing assessment and to coordinate care.
  • Maintain complete and current clinical records regarding all persons served.
  • Achieve productivity goals as assigned.
  • Maintain an active Ohio license, in good standing with the state board.
  • Perform duties in accordance with applicable professional ethics and standards as well as established OGS policies.
  • Comply with all state and federal laws regarding protected health information.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform job duties in a manner that's friendly, considerate, and aligned with the agency's Mission, Vision, and Standards of Ethical Conduct.
  • Organize and plan work for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Utilize IT system and software programs in accordance with agency policy.
  • Utilize time off in a manner consistent with agency policy.
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary and appropriate by supervisor.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
  • Ability to learn and utilize the agency's Electronic Health Record database and other electronic tools effectively and efficiently within 90 days of hire.
  • Demonstrate a current knowledge of mental health practices.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and customer services skills.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of community resources and partnerships available for persons served.
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively function as an A Renewed Mind team member.
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Possess and demonstrate effective organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to customarily and regularly exercise discretion and good professional judgment.
