Position Overview:

Coldwell Solar is seeking an accomplished Chief of Sales and Marketing to lead our Sales and Marketing teams and drive the growth of our solar energy solutions business. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and results-driven leader with extensive experience in sales, marketing, and team management. This role involves overseeing all Sales and Marketing efforts, developing strategies, and executing plans to achieve the company's revenue and market share objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership:

  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies:
  • Formulate and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion.
  • Identify new sales opportunities, markets, and customer segments.
  • Sales Team Management:
  • Lead and mentor the sales team, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training to succeed.
  • Establish performance targets, metrics, and KPIs for the sales team.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee major client accounts and complex sales negotiations.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics.
  • Use market insights to guide sales strategies and product development.

Marketing Leadership:

  • Marketing Strategy Development:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company's goals.
  • Oversee branding, messaging, and positioning to drive customer engagement.
  • Digital Marketing and Online Presence:
  • Oversee the development of digital marketing campaigns, SEO, content marketing, and social media strategies.
  • Manage the company's online presence and ensure its alignment with marketing objectives.
  • Marketing Team Management:
  • Lead the marketing team, providing direction, support, and guidance.
  • Monitor marketing campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed.

Collaboration and Reporting:

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with other departments, including operations and finance, to ensure alignment and support of Sales and Marketing initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and open communication.
  • Financial Management:
  • Prepare and manage the Sales and Marketing budgets.
  • Monitor expenses and financial performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in senior leadership roles in Sales and Marketing, particularly in the renewable energy or technology industry.
  • Strong understanding of the solar energy market, industry trends, and technologies.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing Sales and Marketing strategies.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
