Norton Children's Hospital & University of Louisville is seeking a strategic, visionary Chief of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology:
Norton Children's boasts the region's only Level I Pediatric Trauma Center (300-bed) and a fully integrated academic clinical care model focused on translating clinical research to state-of-the-art bedside care. Pediatric Hematology/Oncology:
o Infusion Center with all private bays and rooms (18)
o Dedicated nursing teams for outpatient, inpatient, infusion center, leukemia, sickle cell, neuro-oncology
o Outstanding professional staff including psychologists, family counseling, and even a facility dog!
o Supportive leadership team stands ready to continue investing in advancements of modern cancer care
o Dynamic group of 8 physicians and 8 APPs could grow to DOUBLE based on market demand and limited competition

• Grow the service line through recruitment and support faculty in developing innovative programs
• Enjoy both a clinical and faculty position, with responsibility for supervising research, teaching excellence and cutting-edge clinical care
• Help make the hematology/oncology program a destination of choice for patients, clinicians and scientists by collaborating with university and hospital partners to create a strategic plan that garners research funding and philanthropic support
