Job Summary:
As the Chief Information Officer (CIO), you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the overall information technology strategy for our company. Your focus will be on driving innovation, optimizing processes, managing budgets, and leading initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our systems and software.
What You’ll Do:
Strategic Systems & Technology Planning:
- Develop and implement a systems strategy aligned with the overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to identify opportunities for technology-driven advancements.
- Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of integrated systems to scale operations and support field teams.
- Identify areas for process improvement; streamline processes; or recommend new software and/or programs as needed to support organizational growth.
- Oversee ongoing data continuity and governance projects to empower integrated systems.
- Establish and oversee robust reporting and analytics frameworks.
- Develop and manage systems budgets, ensuring resources are being used efficiently and effectively.
- Balance team composition, training, and third-party agreements to monitor costs and maximize output.
- Build and lead a high-performing IT team, creating a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and recommend solutions to drive competitive advantage.
- Represent all user groups within the business in the design and deployment of innovativetechnology.
- Assess the feasibility and potential impact of new ventures.
- Lead the planning and execution of strategic initiatives to support organizational growth.
- Communicate technology strategies, initiatives, and progress to executive leadership and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Performs other duties as assigned
What You’ll Need:
- Fuel and home comfort industry experience required.
- 10 years’ experience working with complex, integrated systems across multiple teams
- Experience evaluating, negotiating, and selecting strategic partners across multiple vertical markets and offerings
- Experience working with ERP, CRM, accounting, and analytics platforms
- Ability to understand and connect the needs of users with the capabilities of software
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Information Technology required.
- At least 10 years of experience in administration of information systems and technology, with increasing level of responsibility throughout.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
