The Iowa Clinic is looking for a Chief Information Officer who will be responsible for our technology initiatives and strategy including developing, planning, and implementing an information technology vision that meets the growing business needs of our organization. The CIO is a key people-leader that has direct accountability for ensuring that physicians, staff and patients receive outstanding technology support throughout the organization.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Information Technology Management or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s degree preferred.
- Have at least 8 years of leadership experience in administration of information systems and technology required. Minimum of 5 years senior leadership experience in a healthcare delivery setting. Project Management experience is preferred.
- Ability to communicate directly, clearly and professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent ability to conceptualize long-term business goals and develop orderly processes to accomplish those goals.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Thorough understanding of information technology security and systems with in-depth knowledge of healthcare technology.
- Must demonstrate ability to utilize effective decision-making, problem solving and analytical techniques.
