As a Chief Financial Officer within PNC's Retail Banking Finance organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA. The position is primarily based in a location within PNC's footprint.
The Chief Financial Officer will provide execution leadership to the Retail Home Lending Finance team at PNC.

Job Description
  • Directs all finance-related strategies, initiatives and activities, and financial accounting and reporting for a line of business or specific area.
  • Oversees all financial accounting and control activities for a specific line of business or businesses within the enterprise.
  • Ensures the timely completion and submission of financial and statistical reporting for management and regulatory agencies.
  • Informs and advises senior management on the enterprise's financial condition. Works with senior management in setting annual financial goals and targets for the enterprise.
  • Tracks, reports on and manages the overall financial performance of the enterprise.

Finance and Accounting - Knowledge of finance and accounting practices, financial analysis, and reporting; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
Financial Risk Management - Knowledge of tools, techniques, and strategies applied in financial risk management; the ability to quantify, qualify, and manage financial risk.
Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) - Knowledge of the generally accepted accounting principles and the ability to apply them appropriately within the organization.
Institutional Finance - Knowledge of finance, financial methods, tools and strategies employed by private and public corporations.
Work Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree and higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications. Industry -relevant experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. Proven leadership experience with a large scope of responsibility is required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
