Chief Financial Officer - Admin - Ft Days

Job Description
Responsible for the overall financial management and control of System assets including providing Senior Leadership and the Board of Trustees with accurate and timely financial information. Administrative responsibility for Revenue Cycle departments including Coding, Patient Accounts, and Patient Access, Finance, Managed Care Contracting, and Materials Management. The System CFO is responsible for all System entities including Anderson Hospital, Anderson Hospital Foundation, Anderson Surgery Center, Community Hospital of Staunton, Maryville Imaging, Anderson Medical Group, and Anderson Real Estate. This position reports to the Anderson Healthcare System Chief Executive Officer.
Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree with major in Accounting or Finance. CPA certificate required, MBA or MHA complete or in process.
2. Minimum of five years management experience in hospital financial management.
3. Knowledge and experience in healthcare reimbursement, general ledger, payroll, internal audit, budgeting, revenue cycle, financial analysis, managed care contracting, information systems, debt financing, and materials management.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills to relate effectively with department directors, board members, physicians, senior leadership, and employees.
5. Strong analytical capabilities.
6. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and ensure timely follow-up.
7. Understands performance improvement concepts (LEAN, etc).
8. Independently recognizes and performs duties which need to be done without being directly assigned.
