WHAT IS GREAT ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY?
- Lead and direct financial and operational functions for the hospital
- Join the Leadership Council and lead the Finance Committee, influencing the organization's direction.
- Manage financial resources for various departments, including Patient Access, Coding, Accounting, and more.
- Collaborate with the President/CEO to promote health services within the community.
DO YOU ALIGN WITH THESE KEY QUALIFICATIONS?
- Possess a CPA, MHA, MBA, or MS in Finance, business administration, or related field.
- CPA required.
- 5-7+ years as Hospital CFO, with a track record of success.
- Proven experience in operations, management, and performance improvement for large healthcare systems.
- Demonstrate knowledge of financial policies, employee development, initiative, and effective communication.
- Exhibit strong organizational, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
WHAT WILL YOU DO AS THE CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER?
- Direct financial operations, overseeing departments like Patient Billing and Materials Management.
- Work closely with the President/CEO to ensure alignment of services and continuity.
- Lead the Finance Committee and contribute to the Leadership Council.
- Supervise functions such as reimbursement, budget, patient accounting, and general accounting.
- Oversee investments and contribute to promoting health services to the community.
- Uphold safety, teamwork, accountability, and integrity standards.
- Prioritize patient safety using ARCC and adhere to safety huddles and continuous job aides.
- Collaborate positively, remove barriers, and focus on solutions to achieve positive outcomes.
- Demonstrate willingness to overcome challenges, follow up promptly, and hold oneself to high standards.
- Uphold ethical conduct, follow policies and procedures, and prioritize customer interests at all times.
