As A Service Navigator You Will:
- Conduct customer intakes to assess needs and link them to available resources.
- Assist with providing necessary technology resources and support services (connecting the unconnected).
- Promote learning and digital proficiency.
- Assist with planning and organizing community wellness and education events at CEO.
- Conduct outreach and engagement to assist with communication of available resources internally and externally.
- Work with community partners and stakeholders to collaboratively meet the needs of the low-income community, with a specific focus on disadvantaged youth.
- Maintain files, services, and case notes for customers in a centralized intake database
Qualifications:
- AAS degree in human services or equivalent combination of education, training and experience providing resource services.
- High proficiency with computer skills, specifically Microsoft office, email and website access.
- Previous experience in direct customer assistance
- Understanding of how to assist individuals with technology support and training.
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and highly detail oriented.
- Clean and valid NYS driver’s license
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field preferred
- 4+ years of direct service or outreach experience preferred
- Prior experience with a centralized database and digital file management
