Working directly with the CEO Americas, you will build out a world class finance & administration function with ultimate responsibility for supporting the strategic direction of the company, as well as the day-to-day running of the department. You'll be supported by our HQ Finance management team based in Paris.
What you will do:
- Provide financial leadership and align business and finance strategy to grow the business by contributing to the planning and execution of action plans and transactions.
- Lead and oversee all the financial operations activities, financial controls, financial reporting, financial analysis, financial planning and forecasting; budgeting, treasury, billing, credit controls, payable management, inventory and asset control.
- Track and manage metrics such as cash flow, to optimize the company's performance against company-wide goals.
- Provide analysis, and commentary to stakeholders, aiming to influence and drive decisions and actions that improve the balance sheet position.
- Drive the local digital transformation of the finance function that will drive and enhance value by using innovative insights (disruptive technologies) & harnessed data.
- Operate and run a tight, efficient and effective finance organization. Ensure that proper systems of financial controls and policies are in place. Lean processes & procedures. Reduce the finance's process's friction and enable finance team to be more efficient and successful. Optimize finance operational models to ensure data quality and accuracy, process efficiency, compliance, and consistency and drive team's engagement and accountability. Develop the level of automation and digital access of the information.
- Champion the process of minimizing risk and effective book closing and internal control processes and procedures.
- Produce accurate and timely financial results.
- Responsible for the business performance framework and risk management operations of the company by ensuring compliance with financial regulations, industry regulations and all other relevant regulations, and communicate value and risk issues to top management and the board.
- With the support of HQ Legal management team based in Paris, handle local legal/admin. matters (insurance, ....).
- Working with the CEO and Sales Leadership, create added value for our customers by further developing financing programming that leverages both 3rd party and in-house solutions
What you will need to be successful:
- Master's degree in finance or equivalent experience (required).
- CPA and/or master's degree in business administration or related field (preferred).
- At least five years of experience in a financial leadership position in a private environment with success tracks in strategy and process design as well as management/coaching.
- Working knowledge of budgeting, planning, management accounting and corporate finance
- Expert on financial management systems, accounting policies and standards, tax management, IFRS accounting standards, treasury and cash management
- High personal and professional integrity.
- Experience and ability to work independently, as well as with and across all levels of management, and to influence and collaborate in a diverse and cross-functional workplace. Experience with matrix management.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP system (MS Dynamics preferred)
- Excellent attention to details, ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
