It's an exciting time to join the Leadership team at UNC Health Lenoir, as we embark on our new strategic plan.
Serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the hospital and is responsible for directing the activities relating to the financial and information management of the facility and the safeguarding of its assets. Serves as an elected officer of Lenoir Memorial Hospital, Inc..
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Directing the activities related to the financial and information of the facility and the safeguarding of its assets.
- Interpreting philosophy and objectives of hospital to internal and external customers.
- Planning the objectives of the finance and information division and their implementation through department managers under his/her direction.
- Reviewing all contracts that commit the financial resources of the hospital.
- Negotiating and coordinating managed care contracts for the hospital and related businesses.
- Any and all other duties/responsibilities assigned by the Hospital President.
Requirements:
EDUCATION
- Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with major in Accounting.
- Master's Degree in Business or Health Administration is strongly preferred.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 4 years of senior level experience in Healthcare Financial Management.
OTHER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong leadership skills, good communication, presentation and organizational skills.
- Strong financial and analytical abilities, and good working knowledge of information systems.
