Chief Executive Officer

LHDC is hiring a full-time exempt Chief Executive Officer based in Tell City, Indiana with a service area that includes multiple counties in South Central Indiana. This position is benefit eligible with negotiated salary.

Lincoln Hills Development Corporation (LHDC) is a private, not-for-profit, Community Action Agency (CAA) incorporated in 1965. Headquartered in Tell City, IN, and governed by an 18-member volunteer Board of Directors, LHDC provides a variety of programming and services throughout South Central Indiana, including but not limited to: Head Start and Early Head Start preschool services, energy assistance, weatherization services, rental assistance, affordable senior and family housing, housing counseling, emergency assistance, and volunteer opportunities. The agency has 132 full- and part-time employees and $14 million in fiscal responsibilities in 2022.

At least a Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred, in Public Administration, Community Development, Business Management, Economics, or correlated discipline, AND at least ten (10) years experience in the public or private sector, including two (2) years in an executive supervisory role.
