C4SIR is looking for an Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance & Strategic Effect (ISR&SE) Sub-Market Segment Chief Engineer Sr. Manager within the RMS C4ISR Market Segment to lead ~$200M programs within the ISR&SE portfolio.
This position is expected to be ~70% directly applied on programs with ~30% functional leadership responsibilities.
As the Sub-Market Chief Engineer Sr. Mgr, you will partner with the Program Management and Integrated Engineering organization to lead the engineering program performance including attainment of cost, schedule, technical and quality goals.
The Chief Engineer has total engineering responsibility for the portfolio of programs within the ISR&SE portfolio.
The Chief Engineer ensures that technical integrity is maintained, right engineering rigor and discipline is applied on programs, common architectures are applied, proposal are executable, Research & Development (R&D) is germane to the sub-market segment (and beyond), and programs are executed within the technical, cost, and schedule baselines.
The Chief Engineer monitors trends and shapes customer's roadmaps / captures.
The Chief Engineer will have a staff of senior technical leads and architects.
Basic Qualifications
• Active Top Secret Clearance
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in systems engineering/architecture, allocation & derivation of requirements, design & development, Integration & Test with a thorough understanding of the entire engineering product life cycle.
• Prior experience as Chief Engineer or Engineering Leadership position with experience leading execution of development programs
• Must have experience developing proposals, Basis of Estimates (BOEs), Statement of Works (SOWs), and Technical Specifications
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) to all levels in the corporation and proven ability to represent the organization on significant matters
• Prior experience leading definition of IRADs, development and execution of technology roadmaps
• Demonstrated leader who thinks strategically and proven success as a change agent driving positive changes through the organization
• Demonstrated experience successfully leading engineering teams and programs through effective use of metrics, process, and tools
• Demonstrated team player and proven success working cross-functionality and across the enterprise
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships
• Proven leader who motivates, inspires, and teaches others.

Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $159,600 - $305,900. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement

The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $183,500 - $345,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
