Chief Compliance Officer

Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Chief Compliance Officer to join our team. As the Chief Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organization operates in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. You will develop and implement compliance programs, policies, and procedures to mitigate risk and promote ethical conduct within the company. Duties: - Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance program to ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards - Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of existing compliance programs and identify areas for improvement - Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization's operations and update compliance policies accordingly - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide guidance on compliance-related matters - Oversee the implementation of compliance training programs for employees at all levels of the organization - Investigate any reported violations of compliance policies and take appropriate disciplinary actions when necessary - Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, including documentation of policies, procedures, and training materials - Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in compliance management Experience: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred - Proven experience in a similar role as a Chief Compliance Officer or senior-level compliance professional - Strong knowledge of internal auditing principles and practices - In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements such as the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Fair Housing regulations, Securities law, etc. - Familiarity with financial auditing standards (SOX) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) - Experience working in the banking or financial services industry is highly desirable - Exceptional financial acumen with the ability to analyze complex data and identify potential compliance risks If you are a detail-oriented professional with a strong commitment to ethical conduct and regulatory compliance, we encourage you to apply for this position. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $75.35 - $88.07 per hour
