MSREA has an immediate opening for a Chief Building Engineer for our various properties throughout the Phoenix Metro area . HS Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of ten (10) years verifiable hands on technical experience in HVAC, energy management systems, plumbing, electrical and oversight of building and tenant improvements preferred. Must have reliable transportation. Position requires driving to and from properties on a daily basis. Mileage will be reimbursed. Qualified candidates will be team player with great customer service skills.
- Supervises and directs Venders, Contractors and property engineering staff with the day-to-day operations, service, and maintenance of all structural, mechanical, electrical and all other systems/equipment serving the property.
- Utilize work order system to retrieve and respond to work order requests and performs all other routine maintenance and preventative maintenance and repairs as instructed.
- Regularly tours the property, grounds, and tenant spaces to ensure property condition meets Client standards/expectations.
- Perform minor repairs including exterior/interior bulb and ballast replacement, quarterly HVAC filter replacement, fountain maintenance, ceiling tile replacement, etc.
- Respond promptly to Property Manager and other Building Engineer calls and emails throughout the day.
- On call twenty-four hours a day. Responsible for answering mobile phone twenty-four hours a day.
- Continues to develop knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, security system, fire protection/alarm systems and all other systems/equipment serving the property.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
