What You Will Do
As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for supporting scientific research by assisting with laboratory experiments and procedures. Your duties will include preparing and analyzing samples, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring that experiments are conducted safely and accurately. You will work closely with other members of the Chemistry team.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze samples on Viken’s Foxhound chemical analyzer
- Record and report experimental data accurately
- Assist in the preparation of research reports and presentations
- Assist with development of laboratory experiments and procedures
- Work collaboratively with other members of the chemistry and product team
- Maintain Foxhound demo equipment and test supplies
- Ensure that safety guidelines are followed in the laboratory

Requirements:Requirements:
- Associate Degree in a related field (e. g. biology, chemistry, or analytical equipment)
- Experience working in a laboratory setting
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures and techniques
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
