Skills:
- Leadership: Lead by example, inspiring and motivating the BOH team to strive for excellence in every aspect of their work.
- Culinary Expertise: A solid understanding of cooking techniques, flavor combinations, and ingredient sourcing.
- Organization: Ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently, ensuring smooth workflows and timely execution of orders.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise between front and back of house teams, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
- Creativity: Focus on creating new specials, constantly exploring new dishes and techniques to keep our menu fresh and exciting.
- Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, able to think on your feet and make quick decisions to overcome challenges.
- Passion: Above all, have a genuine love for food and hospitality, and a desire to share that passion with others.
Requirements:
· 2-3 years of experience as a Line Lead, Sous, Kitchen Manager or Chef, with a hunger to learn and grow in the culinary world
· Hands-on management style with line experience
· Proficiency in ordering and scheduling, coupled with the ability to cost control and inventory management
· Excellent communication skills, with a knack for building relationships with suppliers and fellow team members
· Creative problem solver with teaching abilities, able to motivate and inspire a team of employees to provide their best work
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively, with a strong sense of organization and attention to detail
· While breakfast experience is a plus, a willingness to dive headfirst into the unique challenges of morning service is essential
Salary:
· The starting salary range for this position is between $45,000 and $65,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
