Charted Accountant / MS in Accounting / CPA

A CPA firm in Lake Success, NY seeks highly motivated and competent Chartered Accountant / CPA / MS in Accounting for a growing accounting firm. An ideal candidate shall have good experience in public accounting and tax return preparation.

He / She is expected to be proficient in latest tax laws (business and personal), have solid understanding of accounting principles, familiarity with accounting and tax software, and ability to analyze financial data accurately and efficiently.

The candidate should possess good technical expertise, interpersonal skills, high professional standards, meticulous approach and strive for shared responsibility.

Mr. Majithia has been practicing accounting and taxation since 1994. The wide range of clients that he serves include physicians, physician groups, home healthcare agencies, ambulatory surgery centers, dialysis units, imaging centers, cancer centers, independent physician associations, etc. He is also accountant to lots of non-profits and medical associations.

Mr. Majithia assists clients with issues concerning operations of their practice, purchase or sale of practices, practice valuations, exit strategy formulation, cost reduction analysis for the clients, tax saving and tax deferral strategies, asset protection, estate planning, retirement planning, etc.

After graduating with a major in Auditing and Financial Accounting, Mr. Majithia went ahead to become a Cost Accountant. He was a Professor teaching Accounting, Auditing and Taxation to graduate students. He then pursued his career as a CPA.
