Are you a Chaplain looking to provide spiritual services in a live in community setting? Do you have experience leading worship services, bible study, pastoral care and/or counseling? If, so we would love to talk with you!
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide worship and spiritual enrichment opportunities to residents and staff.
- Attend to residents who are homebound or in local hospitals, either personally or through Friendly Visitor program.
- Support residents with end-of-life spiritual care.
- Assist with Advance Directives/Advance Care Planning.
- Offer Pastoral Counseling to residents and family members.
- Perform spiritual assessments and spiritual plans of care for residents.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team care planning.
- Other duties, as requested.

- An ability to work in an environment of differing racial, ethnic, spiritual and socioeconomic backgrounds
- An ability to work in an environment of differing religious backgrounds
- Engage as a team member of a not-for-profit cooperative setting
- Physical ability to visit residents throughout the Twin Towers complex and to respond to emergencies
Position Requirements:
- Current Master’s Degree of Divinity, and Ministry Ordination, preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years serving a congregation, preferably in a senior community or health care setting. Minimum of 1 unit CPE, or ability to achieve within first 18 months.
- Strong knowledge of Advanced Directives demonstrated, and well as familiarity with end of life processes and care.
- Board Certified Chaplaincy preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Microsoft Office proficiency. AOD experience a plus.
