Duration: 13 Weeks
Duties:
- Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are sterile and readily available.
- Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments, sutures, and other supplies as needed.
- Maintain aseptic technique throughout the surgical procedure to prevent infection.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and other team members during surgery.
- Monitor and document vital signs of the patient during surgery.
- Assist with positioning and draping the patient for surgery.
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment for sterilization.
```Requirements```
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to assist in surgical procedures.
- Proficiency in aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.
- Experience working in a hospital or ambulatory surgery center setting.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, such as Epic, for documentation purposes.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a surgical team, communicating and collaborating with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to handle delicate instruments and perform precise tasks.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly to changing situations in the operating room.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $2,000.00 - $2,200.00 per week
