Duties
- lead Surgical First Assistant support
- follow procedural standards and physician’s preference
- assist with suturing and other SFA intraop expertise
- perform skin closures as trained
- ensure instruments, equipment, and supplies are present
- set up sterile field, opens cases
- maintains neat, orderly, and safe work area
- provides and maintain a sterile environment
- Pass instruments and assists during cases
- performs instrument, needle, lap count and standard case protocols
Communication
- Communicates effectively with surgeon and coworkers.
- Consistently interacts in courteous, positive, and cooperative manner
- team player in getting things done
Experience: Minimum 2 years in the field
