Teacher Preschool EEC Certified

South Shore Early Education and Care a program of the South Shore Community Action Council - a private non-profit providing multi-level program support on the South Shore, Cape and Islands, South Shore Early Education and Care in West Yarmouth seeks a full-time -Teacher Preschool EEC certified candidate, 35.00 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

Core Duties: Develop and implement daily lesson & curriculum plans using creative curriculum. Assist Co Teacher to create and maintain a safe and healthy physical environment that fosters the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of students. Perform teaching activities that align with the EEC and Head Start Performance Standards regulations. Meal assistance, Bus Monitoring and other various activities as assigned.
Core Qualifications Commonwealth of Massachusetts EEC certification in Preschool required. Degree in early childhood preferred. Bachelor degree commensurate with maximum salary rate on job grade chart. Must be able to speak and understand English.
Minimum Requirements at employment:
· All candidates must undergo a CORI, DCF, SORI, and fingerprint background check; prior to beginning employment.
· Date of posting 2/8/24, deadline to apply 2/20/24; or until a suitable candidate is found.
· Valid MA state driver’s license.
· Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
