Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (Cota)

Duties:

- Assess patients' physical conditions and follow the individualized treatment plans set by the OT.

- Administer Occupational Therapy interventions to improve patients' mobility, strength, and functional abilities, monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary

- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities to promote recovery and prevent further injury

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans

Qualifications

- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the State of Michigan

- Experience in Skilled Nursing is a bonus

- Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
