Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Kentlands Area

Home Helpers of Olney in Montgomery County is looking for passionate and caring CNAs that can start immediately (Part-Time). We are a part of a 25-year-old franchise that is eager to grow our team by offering a stable career path to compassionate Caregivers who provide one-on-one in-home companion care and daily living assistance to the elderly and those requiring recuperative or continuing care. If you live close to the Kentlands or already work in the Kentlands then this is the shift for you. (36 hours total or 18 hours if you take one part of the shift)
Shift: Monday - Saturday 10:00am - 1:00pm and 7:00pm - 10:00pm
Qualifications:

1. Current CNA license
2. Current CPR and First Aid certification
3. At least 3 years of experience in the field
4. Must have experience with transferring a heavy client
5. Must have good oral and written communication skills
6. Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
7. Must have current doctor's health clearance to work which includes a negative TB test

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

1. Personal Care (Bathing, dressing, and transfers)
2. Light housekeeping
3. Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
4. Assist with medication reminders
5. Transferring the client from bed to wheelchair, wheelchair to commode, and wheelchair to bed
6. Laundry as needed

Compensation: $22.00 per hour
