SalaryAssist with the planning, organizing, directing and evaluating of all Therapeutic Recreation Program activities and to ensure that each resident receives equal opportunity and encouragement to participate in all activities available.
Duties: Duties of the Activities Assistant are assigned by the Activities Director according to need and may include but are not limited to the following.
1. Conduct group activities such as bingo, movies, games, arts and crafts, social events, etc.
2. Offer instruction and assistance to residents where needed and appropriate.
3. Operate equipment such as audio/visual equipment, sewing machine, kitchen appliances, cameras, etc.
4. Maintain supplies and equipment.
5. Perform one to one therapeutic recreations as assigned.
6. Assist in overseeing the Therapeutic Recreational Program including supervision of volunteers, in the absence of the Activities Director or the Assistant Activities Director
7. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
