Job Description
We are seeking a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) to join our team! You will work alongside fellow caregivers to provide high quality resident care in a flexible, and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Follow the daily tasks assigned by the nursing staff
- Provide companionship and basic care to residents (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, escorting)
- Assist with Laundry
- Assist residents with daily medication management--MAP Certification and/or experience with medication assistance preferred but not required
- We do not use gait belts or mechanical lifts, provide 2-person transfers, or offer peri care as part of our service plans
- This is an awake position--staff must remain awake, alert, and functional at all points during the shift.
Qualifications:
- Requirement: Must be a certified nursing assistant (CNA) or home health aide (HHA)
- Previous experience in a residential setting such as in-home care, assisted living, senior housing a plus
- Ability to build rapport with residents
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Ability to work well in teams
We have one opportunity on 3rd Shift (11pm to 7am) at this time.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00 - $19.50 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
