CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - Immediate Need!

Duration: 13 Weeks with possible extension
Shift Information: Day 6:45a to 3:15p. Need to be available Every other Full Weekend (Saturday and Sunday both)

Guaranteed work hours a week: 40

• This client does not entertain requested time off within the first 13 weeks contract.
• Need to be fully vaccinated with Covid 19 vaccine.
• Additional info. - Free parking is offered on site.

ASAP Orientation (Most probably it will be a 4 days orientation at morning hours – all paid)

The Certified Nursing Assistant plays a vital role by being patient-centered and building trust with our patient population. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), the selected candidates will assist patients with illnesses and conditions that are often underserved or difficult to manage in other health care settings, by assisting the patient with activities of daily living.

Skills Required:

• Preform ADL’s

• Weight patients

• Utilize mechanical lifts

• Catheters (condom) application and emptying

• Colostomy care

• Feeding patients with swallowing difficulties

• Don/Doff PPE

• Obtain vital signs

• De-escalate patients as needed

• Document in EMR for ADL care

Required Qualifications:

• Must have a year of experience as CNA (practices as a Certified or Licensed nursing aide for a minimum of a year).
• Current, active certification as a Nurse Aide in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Active BLS/CPR
• Must be fully covid vaxxed.
