Certified Medication Aide (Duties)
- Assists residents with daily medications, treatments and care as assigned and within the scope of practice, policy and procedures and state regulations.
- Coordinates medication services with resident, pharmacy and physician.
- Provides resident comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting residents; answering resident’s all lights and requests; reporting observations of the resident to supervisor.
- Assists Life Enrichment staff in carrying out planned activities.
- Performs other duties consistent with position as assigned
Certified Medication Aide (Qualifications)
- CPR/First Aid certified, preferred
- Complete an accredited Certified Medication Aide course
- Valid State Specific CMA/CMT license
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year prior experience
