Certified Medical Coders - Outpnt & Ed

Busy New York City Hospital Corporation is looking for an experienced and organized Certified Medical Coder.

Qualifications of the Certified Medical Coder includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• Associate's Degree
• 3 years experience
• Must be AHIMA Certified Medical Coder
• Knowledge of ICD10
• Knowledge of coding guidelines, payor guidelines, and federal billing guidelines
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology & disease processes
• Ability to research coding related issues
• Competence in coder training
• Must have CCS and knowledgeable with 3M/HDS coding application
• Outpatient and ED experience

Please note that the hourly rate of $30.00 - $35.00 per hour is a good faith determination of potential base compensation offered to applicants at the time of this job advertisement and may be subject to modification in the future. When determining a team member's base salary and/or hourly rate, various factors may be taken into account as applicable (such as location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget, and internal equity).
