We are looking for a reliable CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) to join our growing back office team.
Position is Monday through Friday, 8:00-5:00
Position is remote, however applicants must reside in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities:
- Utilizing EMR to prep encounter notes and maintain accurate records on patients
- Handling correspondences and concerns from facilities, patients, and their families via fax, phone call, and email communications
- Assist with telehealth visits inside the facilities when providers are not available in person. Must have open availability as the schedule can change week to week.
Skills
- Proven experience as CMA or similar role
- Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with hospital health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
- Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
- Good knowledge of G-Suite and data entry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and able to handle stress
- Successful completion of CMA program is a must
Requirements:
- Must have strong EHR/EMR/computer skills
- Must have strong remote internet connection
- Must have current CMA certificate in State of Georgia
