Centralized Medical Scheduler

Tricity Pain Associates is a leading chronic pain management company that serves our great State of Texas. We help relieve people of chronic pain, and help them move towards a better quality of life. Our pain management doctors and staff are a dynamic team of professionals, who excel in keeping our patients healthy and pain free.

We are seeking a full-time Centralized Medical Scheduler to add to our team and service our patients.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct medication authorizations.
• Answer and route calls to departments.
• Schedule patients for appointments.
• Relay patient messages to the Providers.
• Record information in Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Dynamic customer service.
• Ability to handle multiple telephone lines.

• Comforts patients by anticipating patient's anxieties and answering patient's questions.

• Protect patient rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information

• Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Job Requirements:

• High school Diploma or GED
• Ability to speak, read, and write in both English and Spanish
• Team lead experience
• Work experience in a medical office or clinic setting
• Experience in Microsoft software and PC computers
• Experience in the utilization of an on-line patient scheduling and registration system
