Circuit Grooms Support Technician
Will work primarily 3rd shift
We are working with Infinera Professional Services Traffic Migration team. This team is responsible for performing circuit grooms and migrations for their carrier customers. Specifically LUMEN and Verizon. These carriers are looking to consolidate facilities so they can lower the costs to operate their networks. In order to do so they need to move all customer traffic circuits from the equipment at these locations to other locations in the network.
They have 2 openings for a grooms support technician.
A grooms technician is responsible for supporting live circuit traffic migration work in these carriers networks. There will be pre wiring work in preparation for circuit grooms and support through the migration efforts. This is the process of moving live customer circuits from legacy equipment to other legacy equipment or new equipment.
Central Office technicians have this kind of experience. This work will primarily be done during the maintenance window.
The work week will be Sunday night through Friday morning.
This is a 6 month plus project
