Openhouse + On Lok Community Day Services
On Lok is a not-for-profit organization founded in the early 1970s by a group of citizens concerned about the plight of elders and the lack of long term support options in the community. In 2019, On Lok joined in partnership with Openhouse, a service provider for LGBTQ seniors, to open a visionary Adult Day Program intentionally designed with and for LGBTQ seniors.

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction and supervision of the Adult Day Program Manager (ADPM), the Adult Day Program (ADP) Center Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the center.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide administrative and operational support for the center, including but not limited to:
- Activities, meals, supervision, personal care need coordination, transportation, recruitment, needs and services plans, records, and community member and staff safety.
- Community member care planning, care coordination, and risk management.
- Work with the Adult Day Program Manager to provide oversight support to the caregiver team, including managing schedules.
- Schedule and coordinate transportation.
- Provide clerical and/or administrative support as needed.
- Generate reports and complete required Electronic Health Record (EHR) data entry.
- Work collaboratively with the Adult Day Program Manager on issues related to quality programming, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Support an LGTBQ-welcoming environment with a focus on overall inclusivity of the multilayered aspects of intersectionality within cultures at the Center.
QUALIFICATIONS (knowledge, skills, abilities):
- Minimum one year of experience working in a coordinator, administrative or similar role.
- A specific interest in serving LGBTQ seniors. Three years working in settings with LGBTQ seniors preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate in a professional and warm manner and provide clear and accurate verbal and written communications.
- Thrive in a busy, engaging environment with multiple interruptions and varied types of work.
- Highly organized, able to prioritize tasks and conduct thorough follow-up.
- Fluency in second language a plus. If bilingual, translating/interpreting basic information for team and community members required.
- Computer proficient with experience in Microsoft Office Suite, scheduling systems, EHR and other relevant office technology.
- Ability to work one weekend day (Tuesday - Saturday).
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Must have and maintain (or obtain before start date) First Aid and CPR certification.
- Additional pre-employment requirements include an ability to clear a criminal background check and obtain required medical clearances, including a health screening and Tuberculosis (TB) test.

Your final compensation offer will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, education, and licenses/certifications. The pay range is expressed as an hourly rate regardless of FLSA status. Exempt positions are paid salaried and are not subject to overtime.
