What You'll Do:
Job Overview- As a Cellar Tech 2 your duties will encompass the thorough cleaning and sanitization of winemaking tools, upholding excellent cleanliness standards, executing wine transfers, topping off barrels, and incorporating chemicals to refine the wine. Additionally, you'll handle simple machinery and undertake the crucial tasks of measuring and calculating key operational data, playing a vital part in the winemaking journey.
Job Responsibilities-
- Operates and troubleshoots cellar equipment with minimal supervision, covering essential tasks like racking and sanitation.
- Manages wine processing, blending, and harvest equipment operation with minimal guidance.
- Completes documentation accurately, handles shipping software issues, and ensures correct work order execution.
- Participates in wine production activities, accurately adds ingredients as per orders, and supports fermentation processes.
- Identifies and solves flow issues, understands and communicates special instructions, and prioritizes safety and quality.
- Maintains attendance, adheres to regulatory standards, and manages shipping/receiving tasks, ensuring product quality.
What You Will Need:
- High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate, plus one year of wine production experience.
- Required to be 18 years of age or older.
- Required to be physically capable of executing any job tasks within the bottling room or cellar operations.
- Must be able to repetitively lift and uncase glass cases as needed.
- Must be able to lift, roll and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Required to work any assigned shift (day, swing, graveyard, 5x8, 4x10); required to work weekends and overtime when necessary.
- Required to wear a respirator when necessary.
- Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Required to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Required to comply with company GMP policies.
- Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
- Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Compensation:
- Hiring Salary Range Posted: $21.95 - $29.65 / hourly
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
