Ceded Reinsurance Analyst

Robert Half is seeking a Ceded Reinsurance Analyst.

• Assist with timely and accurate preparation and distribution of various internal management reports including reports distributed to the company's Executive Board
• Support the collateral collection process to mitigate the Sch F penalty which involves the following:
•  Coordinating responses back to the markets
•  Maintaining inventory of collateral
•  Ensuring all required signatures are obtained on the various collateral vehicles.
• Manage Sch F Aging balances analysis on a quarterly basis.
• Assist with preparation of Sch F Footnotes
• Management of Reinsurer database which houses Sch F authorization status, various attributes required for filing Sch F and rating information.
• Assist with special projects (e.g. Business Partner project)
• Work proactively with both department’s stakeholders and internal team members.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Strong computer skills required, especially in Excel. Database experience, working knowledge or similar underwriting or financial systems with FSRI/SAP preferred.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers; understand the needs and goals of a customer and actively look for ways to meet them.
• Strong communicator and team player
• Excellent motivation skills
• Ability to think intuitively.
• Reinsurance experience a plus
• Hybrid in NYC office
