We are currently hiring a CDL licensed driver to drive company owned equipment with the primary role of transporting trailers. The driver will pick up our customer’s trailers and transport to our shop to be repaired. After repairs, the trailers will be transported back to the customer’s lot.

In this role, you can expect to:

· Be home every night

· Pick up and deliver to local customer lots

· Follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner

· Be a self-starter, able and willing to work without direct supervision

Qualifications

· Hold a class A CDL

· Have recent experience driving 18-wheelers (tractor/truck pulling a trailer)

· Have a safe driving record

· Have a current DOT medical card showing that they are a CDL holder

· Have provided their medical card to the DMV so that it shows on their Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

· Have set up an account with the DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse

· Have self-certified with the DMV as Non-Excepted Interstate

Typical Physical Demands

In this role, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear. Standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, bending over, crouching, crawling, climbing, and repetitive use of legs are done occasionally. The team member is occasionally required to lift up to 50 lbs and/or move heavy objects. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment

While performing these duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to outdoor elements in all seasons. Occasionally, the employee will also be exposed to fumes and particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times. While performing these duties, the employee may be exposed to dirt, dust, grime, grease, oil, gas, high-concentrated cleaning solutions, etc.
