Description
Generations Healthcare Network seeks Construction and Maintenance Professionals to Join our Construction Crew.
*Immediate, Permanent Openings*
Full Time, 8am-4:30pm, M-F - $22 to $27 per hour, Depending on Experience - Must be open to travel between facilities and occasionally outside the Chicago area. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
Our team is responsible for maintenance and construction projects in skilled nursing and residential facilities in the Chicagoland area, Decatur, Northwestern Illinois and Northeast Indiana. Must be willing to undergo thorough background check to be deemed eligible for hire by the Illinois Department of Public Health.

General Responsibilities if the Construction/Maintenance Crew Member:
- Fit/fasten wallboard or drywall into position
- Hang dry lines to wall moldings to guide positioning of main runners
- Repair cracks using filler
- Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting, remove old paint
- General electrical installation or maintenance
- General carpentry repairs, painting,
- Basic plumbing repair and replacement
Requirements
Requirements of the General Construction/Maintenance Crew Member:
- General experience with carpentry, plumbing and electrical trades
- Reliable transportation, a valid Driver's License, and a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a complete background screen, including fingerprinting and Motor Vehicle screen
- Must be willing to be COVID vaccinated, or provide valid Medical or Religious exemption, in writing
- Must be deemed eligible to work in a healthcare setting; may require fingerprinting if not yet determined eligible by IDPH
