CDL Class A Local Driver

Job Summary:

Our company has a full-time position available for a CDL Class A local Driver. Driver will need to deliver steel products to job sites in the Atlanta area on a 30' straight truck and a tractor trailer depending on the project size and location. Must have flatbed experience. Home every night. 40 to 50 hours per week with OT available. As a Local Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various destinations within a designated area. This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure on-time deliveries
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, reporting any maintenance or repair needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with customers during deliveries

Experience:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A) with appropriate endorsements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Familiarity with local roads and routes within the designated area
- Experience with loading and unloading cargo using proper techniques and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills

Skills:
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent navigational skills and familiarity with local roads and routes
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers during deliveries
