Vacuum/ Pump Truck Operator (CDL Required)
Role and Responsibilities
- Operate manual and automatic transmission commercial trucks (Pump/Vacuum trucks)
- Perform site surveys to determine scope of projects and assist with preparing estimates
- Utilize pump truck to perform cleaning/maintenance on grease traps, septic tanks, lift stations and other waste water related drainage systems
- Utilize vacuum truck to perform cleaning/ maintenance on storm drains, lift stations, wells, trenches, and other related drainage structure systems
- Perform functions to open/ close access to manholes, grease traps, drainage systems, and septic tanks in a safe manner
- Transport waste to wastewater treatment plants abiding to DOT regulations
- Perform waste discharge from trucks in compliance with waste water treatment facility policies and procedures
- Be flexible to work nights and early mornings to meet clients/customers request
- Participate in after-hours on-call rotation schedule
- Abide to all company’s policies/ procedures and safety guidelines
Technical Knowledge & Experience Required:
- 2+ years of experience driving commercial vehicles requiring CDL endorsement
- 2+ years of experience performing pump and/or vacuum services at commercial and residential structures
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED certificate
- Valid Florida Driver license with CDL endorsement and acceptable driving record
- Knowledge of operating Pump and Vacuum truck mechanical systems (Preferred but willing to train the right candidate)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.24 - $25.17 per hour
