Overview:

We are a rapidly growing company based out of Blue Grass, Iowa that has been proudly doing business for over 20 years. Brus Construction, LLC started with 3 employees, doing mostly residential room additions and remodel work. We now employ over 23 hardworking individuals and have transitioned into specializing in commercial, plant work, and industrial construction, doing work for several large area businesses as well as offering roll off dumpster rentals. We offer a wide range of construction services and are looking for hardworking individuals to join our team!

Position Summary:

We are looking to fill an open part-time position within our company for a Class A CDL Driver. The ideal candidate will possess a license required to drive commercial dump trucks, tarp trucks, & garbage trucks. Being a General Contractor, our company offers a wide range of services to our customers. In turn, we need employees who are flexible and willing to do what it takes to get the job done.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Turn paperwork in daily
• Perform Pre-Trip & Post-Trip Inspections
• Safely transport equipment or materials to job sites
• Roll Off/Compactor & Front Load Disposal Trucking Services
• Follow all DOT & FMSCA regulations
• Complete timecards accurately with all pertinent information
• Log miles traveled per trip, per day, per truck, per state
• Maintain clean trucks
• Misc. maintenance
• Promptly report any damages or non-working items on vehicle
• Courteously interact with all customers, dispatchers and others to ensure all customer routes are serviced in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

• 21 Years of Age
• 2 Years of experience
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) for intrastate & interstate commerce
• Must be able to communicate with others effectively and efficiently
• Willingness to step forward and teach those around
• Must always comply with company safety policy
• Ability to follow OSHA standards
• 10 Hour OSHA – to be completed within the first 90 days of hire
• Be able to lift 25 lbs. – Occasionally
• Flexibility
• Must pass Pre-Employment/DOT drug screen & physical
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Ability to meet all DOT requirements
• No positive and/or refused drug and alcohol test(s)
• Stable work history and excellent safety record
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and exceed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
