Job Overview:

 

The CDL Auditor/Traineris responsible for managing the daily operations and activities of Motor Vehicle CDL training program. The incumbent conducts Driver Examiner Training Classes quarterly; one on one training with new CDL examiners in their specific locations; Audits and recommends training of the current CDL examiners. The incumbent is also responsible for third party skills tester training with new training every four (4) years. Incumbent must also complete the IDEC certification and audit current examiners to meet the expectations of their positions and required CDL expectations and addresses operational concerns with the Bureau and Deputy Bureau Chiefs. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Three years of face-to-face customer service experience 
  • One year of supervisory experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Office, videoconferencing, and driver licensing technology systems proficiency.
  • Experience working with driver license credentialing and issuance processes.
  • Experience with Motor Vehicle Division software applications and programs (i.e. the Mainframe, MERLIN, image capture workstation, testing system, appointment scheduling systems, imaging, and courts.

Applicant must be eligible to apply for a valid Class A intrastate commercial driver license within 6 months of hire.
