Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a variety of trucks, including flatbeds, tankers, tractor-trailers, and dump trucks.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working order.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
- Communicate with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of [1] years of experience as a truck driver.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
- Knowledge of route driving and navigation skills.
- Experience with various types of cargo, including freight and hazardous materials (if applicable).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
