- The primary responsibility of this position requires safely driving a tractor-trailer for the transportation of gravel and other materials, attention to safe loading and unloading at a variety of job sites, and maintaining a clean truck both inside and out
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Safely drive truck to and from destination applying knowledge of DOT driving regulations and area roads
- Handle and maneuver truck controls for safe loading and unloading of material
- Communicate with onsite personnel before leaving the plant to ensure delivery to the correct customer and job site
- Keep equipment in acceptable condition of cleanliness using approved cleaning materials and supplies
- Maintain contact with supervisor/dispatch to receive and transmit delivery instructions
- Cooperate and promote a team concept with all other company employees, as well as customers
- Perform other duties as needed

MarJo delivers to our customers sand, gravel, and topsoil. We are a large quantity hauler of construction materials namely soils. We leave the road and drivers should be comfortable leaving the road and able to read soil types and grade for safe driving. Company has gravel trains, leads, and Dump Trucks. All transmissions are manual.
